Schools No Longer Members of the CIF-San Diego Section

Christian Life Academy:  opened in 1992, withdrew from the section in June 2011 after 6 athletic seasons because the home school model was not within the guidelines of CIF rules pertaining to potential recruiting and school boundaries.  Christian Life had 0 CIF titles.

Chula Vista Christian:  no information available

H-Town Christian Academy:  opened in 2000, closed in 2007, athletics from 2004 to 2007.  H-Town had 0 CIF titles.

San Diego Military:   closed, 4 CIF titles.

San Dieguito High:  closed in 1996 and students transferred to the new school, La Costa Canyon.  San Dieguito Academy opened in 1996 as a new school on the old San Dieguito High campus.  San Diegutio High had 18 CIF titles.

San Miguel Schools for Boys:  merged with Bishop's (all-girls) in 1971.

San Pasqual (Winterhaven):  moved back to the Southern section

Sun Valley Charter (Ramona):  closed in 2008, 0 CIF titles.

Victory Christian:  closed, 1 CIF title.
