2006 McDonald’s All-American Game at SDSU’s Cox Arena

In 2006 SDSU’s Cox Arena hosted the McDonald’s All-American game with La Costa Canyon’s Chase Budinger (Arizona/Detroit Pistons) becoming the 3rd player from San Diego to play in the boys’ game.  Carlsbad’s Scott Ogden was an assistant coach to Fairfax’s Harvey Kitani on the west team.  Chase Budinger was the runner-up in the Slam Dunk Contest and Co-MVP of the game with Kevin Durant (Texas/Oklahoma City Thunder).  Click here for more information on the game in San Diego and history of the McDonald’s game.
